"Gettou" (月桃 "moon peach"/ shell ginger) is a plant from the ginger family that grows abundantly in subtropical regions, including Okinawa Prefecture. The gettou used in this product is cultivated on JAS-certified organic farmland in Okinawa and has also received international organic certification. Gettou distillate is a 100% pure extract made using a unique method to squeeze the flowers, leaves, stems, and seeds of the gettou plant without adding any water, alcohol, preservatives, or other additives.

Gettou is said to be deeply connected to the phases of the moon, having properties related to "detoxification" and "regeneration." It is believed to help regulate female hormones, alleviating menstrual pain and menopausal symptoms.

Moreover, gettou contains approximately 34 times the polyphenols found in red wine.
