Epsom salt is pure crystals of magnesium sulfate. It was discovered in the 15th to 16th centuries in a region called Epsom in England, and was named so because it was white and resembled salt. Grasse Tokyo was founded by the fragrance division of the candle maker Toyo Industry (since 1947). Their body care essentials and bath salts are developed in cooperation with a perfumer from Grasse, a town in southern France known as the perfume capital of the world.
